Mushroom soup is easy and quick to make. If you're too lazy you can buy a tin of instant mushroom soup but homemade mushroom soup is always nicer. This recipe will serve 2-3 people.
Ingredients
- 20 mushrooms
- 1 onion
- 3 cups of milk
- 3 tablespoons of flour
- Some herbs (parsley, chives, mint, sage, etc.)
- Oil
Steps
- Slice the mushrooms.
- Chop up the onion into small pieces.
- Chop up herbs.
- Pour about a teaspoon oil into a big pot or pan.
- Sauté. the mushrooms and the onion until the onion has become translucent and the mushrooms have shrunk and darkened
- Mix the milk and the flour together until they are well mixed (the mixture should not be lumpy).
- Pour the milk and flour mixture into the big pot or pan.
- Stir the soup until it thickens.
- Add salt and pepper to taste as mushroom soup can sometimes be quite bland.
- Serve the soup into bowls and sprinkle with herbs.
